1. Introduction and General Provisions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website https://shadkam.net (the “Website”) and all purchases of products, including high-quality saffron, made from Echo Company AB (the “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). The Company is registered in Sweden with the following details:
• Company Name: Echo Company AB
• Organisation Number: 559392-9051
• Registered Address: Kryddgårdsgränd 15, 13536 Tyresö, Sweden
• Phone: +46 (0)704734187

By accessing the Website, placing an order, or otherwise engaging with our services, you (the “Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not proceed with any purchase or use of the Website.
These Terms apply to all customers, including those in the European Union (EU), the Middle East, and other regions. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on the Website, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
In the event of any conflict between these Terms and any other agreement or understanding, these Terms shall prevail unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing by an authorized representative of the Company.
2. Orders and Delivery
2.1 Placing Orders
All orders placed through the Website are subject to acceptance by the Company. Upon submission of an order, you will receive an automated confirmation email acknowledging receipt. However, this does not constitute acceptance of the order. The order is accepted and a binding contract is formed only when we send a separate email confirming shipment or when the products are dispatched, whichever occurs first.
You must ensure that all information provided during the ordering process (e.g., name, address, contact details) is accurate and complete. The Company is not responsible for any errors or delays resulting from inaccurate information provided by you.
2.2 Product Availability and Descriptions
All products displayed on the Website are subject to availability. We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, images, and specifications are accurate, but they are provided for illustrative purposes only and may vary slightly from the actual product due to factors such as natural variations in saffron or display settings. If a product is unavailable after you place an order, we will notify you promptly and offer alternatives or a full refund.
2.3 Delivery
Delivery times are estimates provided at checkout and may vary based on stock availability, your location, and external factors. For EU customers, standard delivery is typically 3-7 business days; for the Middle East and other regions, it may take 7-14 business days or longer, depending on customs processes.
We use reputable third-party carriers for shipping. Title and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:
• Customs delays, inspections, or duties (which are your responsibility for non-EU shipments)
• Strikes, labor disputes, or transportation disruptions
• Natural disasters, pandemics, or force majeure events (e.g., war, terrorism, extreme weather)
• Errors by the carrier
If delivery is attempted and you are not available, additional fees may apply for re-delivery or storage. For EU customers, we comply with EU consumer protection laws regarding delivery timelines and transparency.
2.4 Shipping Costs and Customs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on weight, destination, and method. For international shipments outside the EU, you are responsible for all import duties, taxes, and customs fees. We recommend checking local regulations before ordering.
3. Prices and Payment
3.1 Pricing
All prices on the Website are stated in Swedish Krona (SEK) unless otherwise specified and include applicable Value Added Tax (VAT) for EU customers. Prices exclude shipping costs, which are added at checkout.
We reserve the right to adjust prices at any time due to:
• Fluctuations in exchange rates
• Changes in VAT rates or other taxes imposed by governments
• Increases in supplier costs or raw material prices
• Errors in pricing or product descriptions
If a pricing error is discovered after order acceptance, we will notify you and allow you to confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.
3.2 Payment Methods
Payments must be made using the secure methods available at checkout provided by Worldline, such as debit (visa or master cart) or credit (klarna) or third-party payment processors such as (PayPal). All transactions are processed in SEK.
We do not store your full payment details; these are handled securely by our payment providers in compliance with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS). By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the total amount, including taxes and shipping. Money is debited from your card the moment a purchase is made.
In case of failed payments or suspected fraud, we may cancel the order and notify you. We reserve the right to refuse orders from customers with a history of non-payment or disputes.
4. Refunds, Returns, and Cancellations
4.1 Right of Withdrawal (EU Customers)
In accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and the Swedish Distance and Doorstep Sales Act (2005:59), EU customers have the right to withdraw from the purchase without reason within 14 days from the date you receive the goods (or the last item in a multi-item order). To exercise this right, notify us in writing (e.g., via email to info@shadkam.net) before the period expires, stating your intent to withdraw.
4.2 Returns Process
Returned items must be unused, unopened, in their original packaging, and in resalable condition. Perishable goods like saffron may not be returnable if the seal is broken, unless faulty. You must return the goods at your own expense within 14 days of notifying us of withdrawal.
Upon receipt and inspection of the returned goods, we will issue a refund for the product price (excluding original shipping costs) within 14 business days, using the same payment method. If the goods are damaged or not in resalable condition due to your handling, we may deduct a reasonable amount from the refund.
4.3 Faulty or Incorrect Items
If you receive defective, damaged, or incorrect products, contact us within 7 days of receipt at info@shadkam.net with details and evidence (e.g., photos). We will investigate and, if justified, provide a replacement, repair, or full refund (including return shipping costs) at our discretion, in line with EU consumer guarantees.
Non-EU customers may have similar rights under local laws, but we encourage checking applicable regulations.
4.4 Cancellations Before Shipment
You may cancel an order before shipment for a full refund. Once shipped, the standard withdrawal process applies.
5. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
If you have any complaints regarding products, delivery, or services, contact us promptly at info@shadkam.net with full details. We aim to respond within 5 business days and resolve issues amicably.
For EU customers, if we cannot resolve the complaint, you may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at https://ec.europa.eu/odr or contact your local consumer protection authority. We are committed to participating in alternative dispute resolution where required.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from:
• Use or inability to use the Website or products
• Delays in delivery or product defects (beyond statutory guarantees)
• Unauthorized access to your account or data breaches (see Privacy Policy for data protection)
Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the relevant product. This does not affect your statutory rights, including under EU consumer laws.
7. Intellectual Property and Website Use
All content on the Website (e.g., text, images, logos) is owned by or licensed to the Company and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any content without our written consent.
You agree not to misuse the Website, including hacking, introducing viruses, or engaging in unlawful activities.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or your purchase shall be exclusively resolved by the courts of Sweden.
For EU customers, this does not deprive you of protections under your local mandatory consumer laws.
9. Miscellaneous
If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions remain enforceable. Failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver.
For questions about these Terms, contact us at the details provided above.
• Business Transfers: In case of merger, acquisition, or sale, data may be transferred with notice to you.
